In a previous thread about the fuel inlet on my weber carb being on the hot side of carb someone posted a photo where the Weber was turn 180 from standard.
Well thanks for that photo. I am in the process of doing this.
I ordered a throttle cable for a 1500 from Moss (you can not beat there service)and it works perfect for the extra length needed to wrap around carb.
Other than needing to attach a clip to hold the throtle return spring it is a pretty simple trick to do. the only thing I need to complete modification is buying a new choke cable long enough to reach around to front of carburator.and vacuum line extention
Now my Fuel line is run along the inner fender, not even close to radiator or exhaust manifold as before.
Plus another big advantage is the carb mounting bolts are alot easier to get too.
