Need brake mechanic in Austin, TX

Looking for a mechanic in the Austin area that can work on my 1958 Bug Eye brake issues.

Thanks for the response. What I'm looking for is someone that has a local garage that the car can be left at for repairs. One or two of the brake cylinders is leaking and I'm thinking a complete brake job is in order with parts needed to be suplied by the garage. Let me know if this is up your alley?

There is no real upgrade for the Bugeye that really makes much difference for the REAR brakes. You CAN go with the later style ones but there really isn't much improvement.
The fronts do about 80% of your braking and going to the front disks are the best easy thing that you can do.

When I did the front disc upgrade it was recommended to me that I use the later style backing plates as well, so I did. I find the brakes to be completely sufficient for the car (and this is with a nice Hap-built 1275 in it). The car is so light at ~1500# that more brake just doesn't seem needed for the street.

There are some backing plates on Ebay cheap, Plan on doing a complete rebuild of rear diff. before reinstalling into wifes bugeye. Might as well do the upgrade.

Rear end of a BE is so light you will never miss the brakes if gone.
