Anyone have experience on this? I took one apart last night to see what make it tick. (Front MGB shock)
The lower piston has a rubber seal that should be easy to source. The seals for the shaft are still in place, but they look like they might be proprietary. I'm sure there will be a way to substitute something modern if needed. In my case the shaft bushings look OK as it never ran too dry. If the shafts are worn there are thinwall shaft repai systems out there, but I'm not sure if they are expensive or not. I saw an article in machine design a few years ago on them.
