HS2 jet needles

I purchased a set of new HS2's off Moss a few years back. I was naive then, assuming that all needles and carbs would be totally same throughout the years and whatnot.

After learning of all the variations in distributors, I assume this holds true with the carbs too. It's not a "one size fits all"

So, based on the fact that I have a stock 1968 1275, which needles should be on the car?

Cool, thanks Jeff. I'll check that out tomorrow. I do believe they are spring loaded. Not 100% sure as I may be confusing this with the original carbs.

On 1968, you should have solid needles, not spring needles, if the carbs are correct for the year, and the stock needle is a AN, but I always rebuild with a #2s or #3s depending on how much has been done to the motor.

Hey guys, I checked. Original carbs were solid needles, didn't see a # on them, but I didn't look too hard. Current (new) carbs are spring needles, AAC. So, looks like I am OK then.

Thanks for the replies!
