I'm gathering parts parts for my tub rebuild this winter. A couple days ago I got 2 floor pans and both inner rockers. These parts were labeled made in the UK.
I set the inner rockers on the frame and placed the floor pans on top. What I noticed was a larger than original gap between the rocker and floor pan. The original looks to have about 5/16 inch clearance to flush. The replacement parts have about 5/8 - 7/8 clearance.
Could the original clearance be from settling over time or are the replacement panels this bad requiring additional major surgery?
