Uprated differential bushings???

My rear differential has been reinforced, but I'm running the stock rubber bushings. What type of improvement should I expected if I upgrade the differential bushings? What have you done? Suggestions? Racetorations sells cups to stiffen up the stock bushings without adding extra noise/vibration or then there's something like https://www.tr6car11.bravehost.com/Performance.html
 
I put the poly bushings in mine when I repaired and gusseted the mounts. I have had no problems with this setup and it doesn't seem any louder. I vote poly.
 
Rubber bushings, stock springs and rubber diff mounts all "absorb" a lot of shock that are otherwise transmitted by poly components and stiff springs straight through to the chassis, inducing flex and harshness. Take a ride sometime in an IRS TR that has been recently refurbished with all rubber components and stock springs/shocks. You might be surprised at how tight but comfortable the ride is...

I pulled all that newfangled poly stuff out of my car, I like the feel and comfort of rubber on my almost-60-year-old back.

My vote is for urethane. The rubber products available for almost all applications of reproduction parts in our cars tend to garbage at best. Some things seem to last a year, some a little more. But life expectancy is short.
Wherever possible, I eliminate rubber.
