I am just sharing my satisfaction with this forum. Ive owned my 72 TR6 for three years now and like most of us, I tinker to the best of my abilities. Over the past three years I have made significant progress and improvements, yet the car never felt trustworthy in the curves at speed. A shop in Willow NY that specializes in British bits suggested that I replace the rear differential mounts. I figured, if we are going there, what the heck, so I ordered new stock "rubber" differential mounts (which I am told could weaken frame if allowed to go bad) new stock springs and rebuilt armstrong lever action shocks from Apple Hydraulics, in Calverton NY. The parts were not particularly expensive. I picked the car up last night after a twelve hour workday and drove the 30 miles home in the dark. All I can say is HOLY COW!.....what a difference....drove like a "sports car"! Best improvement to date and the labor charge was below fair indicating it was not a tough, time consuming job.....I recommend replacing tired rear suspension parts. And special thanks to Eric and Arthur at Willow Automotive. Happy Motoring!
