the round ends of the wiper and signal switches (later cars)

what are they actually supposed to look like? (from new) were they clear? chrome? red on the left green on the right?

thoughts?

JP pretty sure they do IIRC from my '68 Sprite. I think just a press fit but others may have other opinions. Give it a spray with some Chrome In A Can.
