Worked on carb a bit, was idling high. Dumb solution, made the throttle cable just a bit longer so it would set on carb throttle properly.

tried to put top down, was unsuccessful as all the joints were too tight, Oiled em all will try again tomorrow.

Very little gas here yet, and Bee is about empty.

It is so difficult, I am use to a show car and this is not one for sure. But if I lie long enough it will be one heck of a sleeper. Will run down the highway at 85 with out breathing hard. On heck of a touring car.

Those joints need exercise (like ours... ;) ) I'm sure you'll get it done, and once you've got the bugs worked out - well most of them - it'll be worth it.

Our little cars always seem to need some sorting no matter how good they look when we buy them. You'll get it done and it'll be lovely.

Heh, now I am using a lube on the rear window zipper. As expected every job is one step forward and two back. Top not down yet, still lubing stuff so I can get window closed and top bows to bend where they need to.

Okies, got it to bind in all the right places but surely is a tight fit. That Silicone worked well. After I rest a bit will put on the summer top. Oh yea, need a pic of that as well.

Still no gas where I can get to it, glad the Acura has a full tank.

You bought a typical example of a New England Classic car - maybe better than most. His cars almost never resemble their description. Check out what some of his buyers have to say online. I'm lucky. I only live about 30 miles away and can examine his cars in person. Imagine if you didn't know anything about cars and bought sight unseen.
