More engine work today

Got a box in the mail today from our own ChrisS, containing an adaptor for mounting an A-series motor to an engine stand. Pulled out the old engine hoist, and got my engine mounted. Out came the manuals, and off came the head! I'll probably spend most of the evening playing with the greasy bits.

First question, how do I remove the studs that held down the head? 2 of them came out when I removed the nuts, but I'm not sure how to pull out the others.

Pictures to follow later this evening...

Double nut the studs. Tighten the two nuts together, then use a wrench to turn the lower nut.

One way to do it without scoring the stud shafts {something you really dont want to do if you plan to reuse the studs}is to double nut the studs, use the bottom nut and a wrench to turn the studs out. Providing the studs are not seized in the block this method MAY work.
Otherwise a stud removal tool simular to the ones on this site
https://www.titantoolco.com/Stud%20Driving%20home.htm
There are also stud installation tools. Some manufacturers incorporate both designs in one tool.
