Hi!
11 months ago, I bought a, year 2000 Rover 75. At that time the car had 88.000 kilometres behind it, and now (about 2 weeks ago) it reached 100.000… And this is where it all went wrong!!
This little wheel got ripped up:

Which resulted in 2 crushed camshafts, 6 broken pistons, 2 wrecked cylinder heads and 24 bend valves…
A repair job worth 72.000 Danish kroner. (About 11.830 USD) This is the price, I have to pay, to get a new motor imported all the way from England, and getting it installed.
So.. My question is.. Was this ought to happen after such a short period.. Or should this never even had happened?!
After this incident, I have considered selling the car, but was wondering if anyone had any other experiences with this car? Any reasons why I should keep it?
