If i where you i would order a S U rebuild kit from moss motors and just do the rebuilding yourself! Your S U carbs are super easy and very simple to rebuild. There are not many moving parts in a S U carb and most likely all you will need is the basic rebuild kit and not the master rebuild kit! Just bench both of the carbs and do one at a time and NEVER mix and match parts with each other! A manual would be of great help as well. Just make sure you clean and blow out all the passages very well with carb spray and compressed air and go by the book. My basic SU carb rebuild kit for my HD-8 carbs cost $125.00 from moss however you can just order the parts you really need and spend much less! Basic parts you will need to replace on the HD8 carbs are the jet and diaphragm, standard needle[un]and all the gaskets, New needles and seats in the float bowls, check to see that the floats are in good shape and as you inspect each carb replace any suspect parts as you go along. Chances are your throttle shafts are ok but rebushing them is really very simple if needed. The S U kits come with many parts and gaskets you will never need that are intended for other S U Carbs.Like i said S U Carbs are very simple indeed! Give it a try before spending a crazy amount of money for such a simple task! If you can remove them you can rebuild them! Michael, BJ8
