RE: No Start TR6
Hey Gang,
To all the folks that help set me on the right track in locating the starting problem with my '73 TR6, I just want to say thanks. The problem turned out to be a bad battery. When I put a meter on the battery at the very start of this problem it was giving a full charge reading. The good news is that while the TR was down I got around to installing the new ignition switch and gear reduction starter that I had purchased earlier. Of course when I tried to start her up, nothing. That's when I tried a jump start, bingo. Well anyway, thanks again for all your help. By the way, that gear reduction starter is a great upgrade to the system.
