Need help Identifying an OD Transmission

Are there any numbers on an OD (or 4speed for that matter) that can tell me it's build date?

D type or LH?

If LH, there are two variants: black and blue label. The only diff is the plastic speedo gear. 1280 revs/mile on the black, 1000 on the blue. The black is correct up until about 74, blue thereafter.

At least I think so :smile:

Is there any way to tell year of Manufacture? I've got two Blue lables here and I want to know which is newer.
