Hi everyone
I've already been asking around regarding the original 1960'es wire wheel paint, but somehow I always meet the wall. Then I came across path that could (hopefully) lead me to a little more succes.
I'm curious to find out if anybody can help me with the original mixing code of the BMC paint colour code AL1 (one of few paints mentioned on varies old BMC paint sheeds without any mixing code attached). The autor Anders Ditlev Clausager claims in the book "Original MGA", that the BMC colour AL1 is the wire wheel colour, and was used on Dunlop wire wheels in the early 1960'es.
If possible also I'll be very very happy if someone can inform me who was the original paint supplier of the AL1 paint.
Please let me know if anybody out there can help me out!
Kind regards
Kenneth
