I had performance Toyo Tires on my car, but the stopped making them. I went to 165/80s but wasn't happy, as they were rather pedestrian. I have my car in the body shop getting rid of the tin worm and wanted to replace the rubber at the same time as I don't like the taller tires, so I asked my tire guy to find me something, anything performance oriented. After a week or so of no results I talked to him and all he could find was high mileage all seasons made for minivans. 175/70s are almost impossible to find .. Coker tires was of no use as the smallest they have are 14s. BUT... I remembered LONGSTONE TYRE in England. They now have Pirelli Cinturatos as well as the AVONS they've had for a long while. I now have set on "the red thing". It should be out of the body shop in a couple of weeks.
