TR2/3/3A Wiring Harness, 60 TR3A

After all of the concern over fuses I decided to get my wiring harness out to see what I had. I bought it several years ago on Ebay and hadn't looked. It has a tag on it that says Cok & Buckles. British I would guess. Is anyone familiar with the company?

Yes, that should be Cox & Buckles. They have been around for a long time. I have never bought anyting from them. Their name is mentioned in one of the Piggot Triumph books I have as a source for parts.

Edit: After scobing around some more, that link I gave is actually for the Cox & Buckles repair facility. Moss of Europe bought up the spare parts division according to this from their website...

"Once again opportunity knocked and in 1989 Moss Jaguar was sold to help fund the acquisition of Classic British Sportscar Spares. This UK based organization included some of the most respected names in the industry. Among them were Cox & Buckles, Britain's foremost Triumph specialists and their associate company Triumphtune, the original Sprite & Midget Centre in Richmond, Stafford's MG parts in Manchester, and Naylor Bros in Shipley, West Yorkshire. The group became known collectively as Moss Europe. Also in 1989, the Nisonger Corporation was purchased by the Milard Group, as the holding company for the various companies within Moss was known."

Thanks Art, The tag was hand printed and as I looked at it agsin I did read Cox & Buckles. And indeed it is a very nice site.

When I started the restoration of my TR3A in 1987, I bought about $3600 worth of parts from Cox and Buckles. I walked through their stock-room to see that the parts looked like the original ones. At that time they were on Monor Road in Richmond-on-Thames. They also had a workshop attached. Today, as stated above the sales part has become Moss-Europe and they have moved. I visited them about 5 years ago for a few parts at their new address, but I didn't know what happened to the workshop.
