Now for all of you folks out there who live where there is little or no snow, my enthusiasm for today's warm weather may seem a bit exaggerated. But up here in the frozen north of Michigan, a sunny day with temperatures breaking 50 degrees after months of not getting above freezing was a big deal!!! Prior to today, we had only seen 40 degrees once or twice since last November.
I keep my XJ6C in storage (in a snow bird neighbor's garage) during the winter months but broke it out of its slumber so as to attend our local British club's annual "winter" meeting. How sweetly ironic that today's weather was glorious! It sure felt great to once again pilot an English classic after 5 months of it being in cold storage. It just makes you appreciate more what you have when you don't get to drive it on a regular basis.
