By coincidence I stumbled on a couple of road tests of Meadows Friskies today - fascinating cars. The front suspension on some models used an interesting setup with rubber in shear that I've never seen before. Looks like it has very low unspring weight. (Wolverhampton seemed to like to produce cars with rubber suspensions - our Kieft had a sort of bungee cord rear suspension.)
The Friskies with Villiers engines had a two-position starter switch. To reverse the car, you started the engine backwards. (Some microcars just turn the drive wheel 180 degrees). The showed a coupe similar to the picture with gullwing doors.
Looks like very innovative company.
