Double Bearing Hub Problem

Hopefully Someone is just as crazy as me and on here today when we should be doing the family thing. Well here goes.

I am installing db hubs from wc. I rebent the lower brake spring and drilled new holes in the shoes for the lower spring as the directions state but my top springs hit. Is there a fix for that? Help!

Thank sGuys, spring on Inside It would appear that I had no Choice but to Eliminate the parking brake. This just causes everything to get in the way. Something I was hoping I wouldnt have to do.

I don't think the DB hubs are designed to be used with a parking brake. You'd have to call Rob or Dave to verify, but they were built for race cars, and nobody runs a parking brake.
Jack, the springs are installed correctly on both the above pictures.

Can't say I know about the parking brake issue, always disguarded that on a race car, but no doubt it takes some creative spring routing to keep them off the double bearing hubs, it gets kinda tight in there with the DB hubs.

Yep Yep! Luckily I magically had an extra 20 year old 12mm bit in my box cause I killed the first one after finishing the rear hubs. Between the two, I had enough to do the front
