Bugeye pedal box

My car currently has dual Tilton 3/4" brake and clutch master cylinders and they sit on top of the pedal box with the rods at an angle. I would like to build or modify a pedal box so the MCs will sit at the same angle as the originals, but the 2 together are 3.75" wide or about 1.25" wider that the inside of the original pedal box. At the existing angle I feel like I have less available travel of the push rods. Is this a fairly easy project and is it worthwhile? I have less movement in the brakes and clutch than I would like.

Thanks, I participated in that thread as well and my set-up is for a single brake MC and a single clutch MC, not the 3 MC set-up. I like Hooey's brackets for mounting the 3 MC set-up, however I don't have any of the associated hardware that goes with it. What I would like to do is widen and existing pedal box so I can drop the assembly lower and have a better line to the pedals. The width of the existing box prevents that. Has anyone done this modification before?
