that had the V8 aluminum motor (Buick also?) 4 doors, kinda unusual look.......was in the states for just a short time, some trouble with the Lucas electrics, as I recall....

What was that model Rover? and.... have any pics of one?

I am toying with the idea of tracking one down....anyone know what the market is like for those?
TIA,

If you're thinking of SD1, kind of a wedge-looking thing, there's one for sale in the Classifieds section of this very Forum.

Hi,

You might be thinking of the 3500S or its variants. Basically a 2000TC with an aluminum V8 instead of the four cylinder. A really cool car--complex, sophisticated, and fairly scarce in North America. I wish I had one.

Try this link:

Google Rover 3500S and 2000TC and it should take you to some club sites and maybe even classified ads.

Good luck,

Rovernut, your car is gorgeous. It's literally everything I've ever wanted in a sporting saloon. Very, very nice.

Thank you...........Not so beautiful today when i went to change the shocks on the car and found the previous ###$%#@&^??? had used 2 nails as cotter pins and they had rusted solid in the lower shock peg........I used enough heat to near melt the peg and finally after 2 hours got the one nail out.......ah the trials and tribulations of an older car
