A bit of humor and truth all at once. I get ribbed about having a Triumph as my only car. Well, only running car. I do have 2 chrome bumper MGBs...
Anyway, I find my 1978 Spitfire very practical. Let's look at some facts: I can do all the work on it, saving me money. Insurance is wicked cheap. I get 23-28mpg per tank (no overdrive). Frustrating? Sometimes, but rewarding more often than not. Also, I only have a passenger I want to be with me, no interlopers. If it's a group thing, I never have to take my car. You can really carry most anything in these cars, especially with the top down. My dog is happy as can be in it, even going to the vet. No car payment.
I guess I'll let the pics speak for themselves. I just finished moving and a majority of items were moved via Spitfire. I mean, just zip the rear window out...

Or keep the top down...

Thought a little humor would be good for a Monday!
