Guys,
I just installed new outer window seals on my BJ7, which has roll up windows. They seem to be positions properly, and the fit looks good. The windows roll up perfectly, but... When I roll the windows down, the part of the rubber seal that comes in contact with the window rolls under as the window retracts into the opening.
I contacted the supplier. They advised that the rubber is new and quite soft, to prevent this, they suggested using "window wax", which will act almost as a lubricant.
Has anyone else run into a similar issue, or is there a different remedy than window wax.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
