Very sad that he should have fallen from grace thanks to the PC brigade in England.
He is well know here in France and although the show is dubbed the voice for BH is good. Mind you so much is visual;
Have you had the shows with Hill's Angels?
We don't get the BBC Channel and that bites royally. I did go out and buy a Benny Hill dvd at Christmas. We used to watch him years and years ago, 20+. Funny stuff.
I watched that too.I don't know how you'd explain
Benny to someone who's never heard of him.
Better yet,try & explain the plot (in a believable way),to anyone who's never seen Dr. Who!
Not a Benny Hill question, but a movie car question. What was the car Grace Kelly drove in the Alfred Hitchcock movie "To Catch a Thief"? I saw it on TV again recently and never could figure it out--British, American, what? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

MGA Steve: Grace Kelly was driving a Sunbeam Alpine (the old style). Weird fact: She died at the wheel of a Rover 3500 when the brakes failed.
Other funny Brits and cars: Monty Pythons great Upper Class Twit of the Year sketch where the twits drive a Spitfire and an E-type, backing into old ladies and slamming the doors.
