Today was a very busy day. I took today and tomorrow off for some much needed mental relaxation and TR6 upgrading. I actually got to get my hands dirty again with Erik doing two jobs that I've wanted to get done since last year.
Today we did the Rick Patton trailing arm stud repair with Keen-Serts and while it was all apart, we installed new Richard Good CV Joint Axle Assemblies.
I'll add some pictures as soon as I get them uploaded to my server.
Tomorrow, Erik, me and Marc Goldblatt of Classic Technologies are meeting at my house at 9:00AM. Marc is a sponsor here and as designed a new modern fuse panel for those who want to update their electronics, without replacing the entire harness. Classic Tecnologies, Inc.
Erik is going to be his local installer and I agreed to document the the entire process as we do it to my car, so the Marc could add all of the pictures that I take to his instruction manual for the DIY'ers, to help make some of the "gray" areas a bit easier to understand.
Naturally, I'll be adding a web page to my site with a full pictorial from start to finish. With any luck, the upholstery shop will have my seats done early next week and we can remove my originals tomorrow and run the wiring for the seat heaters right into the relay panel, so when I get the seats, I can plug everything right in. I made all new speaker wiring harnesses for the Miata seat speakers, so those are ready to go in as soon as I get the original seats out.
