Well folks, Basil listened and I returned. I just paid for my annual silver membership.

The procedure is extremely easy.

Thank you Basil for all of your hard work over the last 8 years. I've learned alot!

:winner1: = us!

Just sent mine in today......appreciate the FORUM for the two years since I found it!!

Thanks Basil!!

Me too.

What better thing to do during the Thanksgiving season than to show Basil gratitude for providing us with a wonderful asset.

I just subscribed--Thanks Basil and keep up the great work.

I am in, glad Basil is taking Paypal, makes it much easier, that is where the car fun money is.

You don't have to send a lot, but if everybody or at least all the regulars do it it would certainly help make the BCF a viable ongoing entity.

Thanks guys, your support is much appreciated! Happy Thanksgiving! I myself am just now coming out of a Turkey-induced coma!

It really blew me away when Dave Russell became a gold member. In the almost 4 years I've been here, the only question I ever saw him ask was about his computer.

I just revisited this post.

1. I'm thankful to Basil for all the time and effort he has given in keeping this forum up though the years. I remember the times when he was having problems with servers and all the work he did to keep this site up. Thank you!

2. Dave Russell is missed here. You could always count on him and he subscribed as a gold member. Subscibtion is voluntary and I'd bet we would have chipped in and payed for his membership.

I notice that below each of our handles it shows our support. Bronze, silver etc. I like that. It shows us that we personally support Basils efforts. I'm also intruiged to see how many posts that member has contributed. It's amazing to see the corralation between when registered and how many posts. My hats off to those who are the regulars, who partisipate. You know who you are. (And from the number of posts, so do we!) Well done!

Cheers from a Silver member, (who is looking forward to the 1,000 post club soon ).
Roger

Figured that with four British cars I would be more than getting my money's worth:cz) So, now I am official Silver member. Thank you Basil.

Hi John,
There was a discussion in the "Forum Happenings" section HERE. Cliff Notes version: the Forum was (is) too expensive for Basil to foot the entire bill. Subscriptions are a voluntary way to supplement the cost and help Basil. In your "My Stuff" section, you will see subscriptions towards the bottom. From there you can select the type of subscription you want.
