Not necessarily...if I owned a MMM car for example, and were coming from California (as I know at least one registrant is doing), I think I would want to have that option!

BTW...the only time my car would ever be on a trailer is if were broken.....or stolen!

There are some cars that are just not feasible to drive that far given a limited number of vacation days. But... I have seen MGA's trailered to a show that was 90 miles from the person's home. He said that it was just too far to drive such an old car. But, the car was very clean... just not my personal idea of fun.

Me...I DRIVE my cars! I've had the MGB to both the east coast and west coast as well as Canada...and the MGC to the west coast, east coast, Texas, and Florida.

I've had each car on 1000 mile/24 hour rallies.

MGs were built to be DRIVEN in my opinion!

Do I need to register to get in to the ground? Or is it open to everyone for a fee?? My wife and I will be there purely as spectators. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/savewave.gif

You do NOT need to register for the event if you are at the car show on Friday purely as a spectator.

The local fire department will be accepting donations from spectators for parking, etc.

There will be food vendors on site.

Rick, Is the info you want only for those staying in Gatlinburg? Were staying at an RV park in Pigeon Forge. Only one of two who could handle our rig with a trailer. 60 ft. PJ

If you have already arranged for OFFSITE parking of your trailer and two vehicle, that's GREAT! We need the numbers of those staying in G'Burg and planning on utilizing the lots that we with whom have contracts
