TR2/3/3A SU Braided hose Bling?

I saw a picture of a TR3 engine bay where the owner had replaced the U shaped gas line connector under the SU's with a braided steel hose connector that ran over top the float float bowls. This hose then connects to the steel gas line at about the rad cap area.An L shaped bracket with a rubber grommet is fastened to an upper thermostat housing bolt to keep it steady. The line then continues in the usual way to the pump. Anyone know who supplies the "Braided Steel Hose Bling"?

There are a number- Paragon for one. Trick is to know what kind of fitting is needed on the end. Webers take AN-6, I think, but I don't know about the fitting that goes into the fuel pump.

TR2 and early TR3 had a woven fuel line (braided) connecting the carbs to the solid line behind the radiator. Most people just use rubber hose clamped to the banjo fittings. Moss sells a braded line but the fittings are the wrong style for a concours restoration. I had to source all the parts and make my own.

What length were the Petroflex hoses you ordered for your TR3?

I bought a bunch at one time. 3 - 3" shorties, 2 for the u line connections, one at the inlet. Longer lengths around the filter and fuel pump. But I bought several and fit them as needed. ISTR they are Smiths brand.
