If you re-read my page on my site, I said that Jeff micro-polished the pump bodies for me and I rebuilt them on my bench. That is where all of the pictures came from.

I also had Jeff Palya at Micropolishing, LLC do some for me a few years ago. That's just added bling and not required for a normal rebuild.

Jeff Schlemmer is a god to the ignition system in our English cars. There is absolutely NO other reason to use anything other than a Jeff Schlemmer distributor.

If you are nice, I'm sure he would polish up your fuel pump or carb parts although he does not rebuild them. He has a special machine to clean and polish all the distributors.
 
Hear is what I did. Due to some recent contractor changes around the house (too hot to work) I only had this weekend to fix the car so I went back to the electrical fuel pump. However this time I installed a oil pressure shut off switch that came from NAPA for only $8. Backed out the T connector and got an X connector. Made all the connections for the axillary oil line to the head, new oil pressure switch for the dummy light and the new 2 pole switch for the cut off to the pump. So far works great. The only thing I didn't figure in was a roll over. Just hope the engine cuts off quickly!!

Hi guys - know this is an old thread but thought I'd just comment that my two year old and maybe 400 total mile reproduction fuel pump from one of the big 3 failed.

Yet more evidence that a rebuild is a better way to go...
