I recently purchased a 1958 Elva Courier, SN#100-15-L, making it the 15th production car and therefore a Courier Mark I.

Assumedly it was supplied with a 1489 cc. MGA Mk I engine but not being too familiar with MG engine nomenclature I would appreciate anyone's assistance in verifying this fact from the following engine number on the Builder's Plate: 1H.358.AG.SER.

POSITIVE yours was a 1489 (1500) engine.

Nice because they are easy to find.

I believe Bob put a 1622 in it. (if you want a 1500 I've got one)

The Spring picnic at Little Cove Farm will (hopefully) not happen this year--looks like we have a buyer for the farm and if so I am afraid that the closing will be right around the Drive Your British Car Week weekend.

I'll post more to the Austin-Healey forum if the event does in fact come to pass but I am hopeful that it will not. Save your old BCW tee-shirts as they may become collector's items!
