OK, you're either talking about Chase Austin, Steve Austin, Phil Austin or Austin Dillion. All are associated with NASCAR.
I'm guessing Chase Austin, who is a new, young driver that been super successful in karts and short-track. Lots of excitement about him.
Chase is said to be a leading driver in the "new" NASCAR, aimed as a younger and slightly different demographic.
He is apparently not only talented, but also a cheerful, good-looking guy that does just as well on TV interviews as he does driving. His roots are from Kansas and his heritage is somewhat similar to the 44th US president. That background may be part of the new-audience that NASCAR is seeking.
Chase will likely join other super-talented minority sports figures that have emerged in recent years such as Tiger Woods, Lewis Hamilton (F1) and James Stewart, Jr. (AMA Motorcross).
I'm not a big NASCAR fan, but I am happy to drive at Watkins Glen and Pocono anytime I can (both "NASCAR tracks" these days).
Good luck to Chase!
(he certainly has the "right" first name! )
ps-at first I thought this would be about those old "small bore" NASCAR races back in the 50s, where there were a few instances that MGs and Jaguars that were allowed to enter.
