Hi all:
My TRF plastic gearbox cover has cracked due to me not using the soft rubber seal under it before I bolted it down (I never said I was very bright ...)
I would like to try to repair it using a plastic welding kit (like the one Eastwood sells) instead of buying a new one. Does anyone know what type of plastic this cover is made out of? The plastic welding rods available are Polyethylene, PVC, Polyurethane, Polypropylene, and ABS. My guess is ABS, but I thought I'd ask you guys about it before I gave it a shot.
Thanks as always for your help.
Matt
