Long shot search for original window sticker

In 1978 I purchased a 63 BJ7 from a repair/restoration shop in SE New York State or the adjacent CT area. He specialized in big Healy's. I needed the car for parts to restore the BJ 7 that was in my family since new.

At the time he had just lost points at a show because he had 60 spoke wires on the car and couldn't prove to the judges that late production BJ7's had 60 spoke wheels factory fitted. I gave him my original window sticker for HBJ7L25017 showing 60 spoke wheels. I didn't think I wanted it at the time but of course now I would love to have it. The car was purchased at Montclair Motors, Montclair, NJ.
I would of course offer to purchase the sticker if anyone out there has it. His last name might be Kurrus.

any leads would be appreciated.

It's a much longer shot than you could possibly imagine. You won't be seeing that sticker anytime soon:

In1978, Glen Kurrus was running a shop called Global Healeys, which is where you probably purchased the parts BJ7. He later ran Paradise Garage outside of Lime Rock and ran into, ahem, a bit of legal trouble.

Wow! I guess people go bad but I always thought Healey guys were more resistant to it. My experience with him was very good but a few decades can change anyone for better or worse.
Rick, thanks for the info. I do have the original sales contract for my restored original owner healey but finding the window sticker would have been great. Perhaps it sits in the file of a specialist Healey judge or collector somewhere.

Hopefully it will turn up somewhere, it's worth a shot. Global Healeys was one of the first restoration shops to do high-end Healey restorations in the '70s and I remember we thought the asking prices for their cars were outrageous. Those same prices today would seem like a bargain basement sale. Paradise Garage had a great location right across from Lime Rock Park and Kurrus threw a big open house in conjunction with the Fall Vintage Festival.
