It was a tough decision to buy the Healey, part of me wanted a vintage car, so we've decided to sell.
You wanted a "vintage" car, huh? Your BN1 is over 50 years old. How old does a car have to be to qualify for "vintage"? /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif I guess by vintage you mean "pre-war"?
Seriously though, if I had a Healey in the UK, and it was for sale, I'd probably first try the club there. I think there's always a ready market for good Healeys o'er there, and not just a bunch of brokers looking to flip it for a quick quid.
eBay is a world of its own with pitfalls for both buyers and sellers, although if you put a reserve on it you can hardly go too far wrong.
If those avenues don't work for you, send me a brief description and a good photo and I'll run it in
Healey Marque where it will be seen by nearly 4,000
Austin-Healey Club of America members across the USA and Canada.
Good luck!
