Bottom end on my ‘73 is coming together. I decided to spring for the Classic Technologies front sealing block. I like both the product and Marc. I learned that the 12 point ARP main bolts are too tall, though, and decided the easiest solution was a couple minutes with the bench grinder shortening the bolts heads. Pretty pleased that I’ll have no worries now about pulling aluminum threads out.
I also stuck a couple new standard size thrust washers in and lo and behold... Pics below.
