I happened upon an article on the Minnesota MG Club's site telling about a "field trip" to a junkyard in Minnesota. In an included picture is a TR6 sitting in the weeds! Yippee I thought, since I am going to Minnesota for the weekend, I can go and investigate. What I found, is TR6 CC61082L, and it has been there a while. The body is rusted beyond use, and the guages, top frame and distributor are gone. The engine, non-overdrive trans, and the differential with rear drivetrain are in place. There are four wheels with three caps black). Perhaps the most noteworthy item is the yellow fan. For the determined, the bonnet could be rescued, but be prepared for a task. The car is in the far northwest corner of the facility, near the Volkswagen microbusses, and is in the French Lake Auto Parts yard at 3513 County Rd.3 NW Annandale, Minnesota. The trip is about 60 miles from Bloomington, going west on Rt 55 to County rd 37, and then west to rt 3 and north approx. one mile. Happy trails to anyone interested!
