TR6 Opinions wanted

All good points above looks like under coating pealing off and not much rust. What I saw was no real oil leaks I would like to see mounts at rear swing arms. and motor area; like rusted battery box poor wiring and motor mounts at frame also rear shocks for leaks or repairs . If over $10,000.00 get more information. And Join a club. At three feet a good looking TR 6 that hides a lot.

That's an alternator and the air pump in that picture...If he did have AC, the compressor would be on the other side of the engine
He does have air horns and a air pump for them showing in that picture, too...a service interval counter showing up as well.

Brake booster hose?

Looks like it might be the air hose from the check valve on the air rail to the diverter valve.
The slightly smaller hose is the vacuum hose for the servo

As soon as I fix a brake problem, I'm putting my 1971 TR6 up for sale. I've owned it for over 20 years. It will be much less money than the one you're looking at and might be in better shape. If you're interested, call me at 203-554-3600. I'm in CT.

Consider rust / corrosion / rot can attack the differential attachment. There is a a decided "clunck" on starting out. It is possoble to repair without removing the body, as I understand it, but again not something you might see in a photo.
