To anyone going to the Watkins Glen Vintage Festival this Friday. I'll be participating in the "Concorso Speciale" event held in the parking lot of Community Bank right on Franklin St.
Just look for the bright orange VW camper bus. I'll likely be wearing my boonie hat. Stop by and say howdy!! If I still have any cold beer in the fridge, you're welcome to one!:eagerness:

No fog in Watkins. It was a bright, hot day. Another fantastic festival. I think I could have parked the bus between 2 McLarens F1s and gotten more attention then them! I was overwhelmed with the interest, enthusiasm, and stories I heard all day. I even ran into a brilliant English fellow that has an Anglia, who hangs around here often. He needs to join in the fun with us! I'd like to say it was a pleasure meeting you sir, and I can't remember if you got a cold one or not, but if I did not offer one I am sorry. It was pretty hectic right about then and I missed it. Stop by next year and I'll make sure you get a double pint!
MGs out the wazoo!!!! what a great turnout! I only took a few pics, and I need to get them on the computer, but I'll post what I have soon.
When I pulled in to the event I was in, I parked next to a 1961 Ford Econoline van. Really cool! And we both were awarded the "Brothers from another mother" award. Hahahahah!!!!
B.S. Levy says his latest in the Last Open Road series will be out next spring. I can't wait!!!!
