Saw the back of it.Looked like a couple of drunk sheetmetal workers
decided to make a truck using sheet aluminum after downing a 30 pack
of beer ("It sure seemed like a GREAT idea last night").

I just drove past their Austin plant last Thursday. The parking lots aren't even paved and they're FULL of unsold inventory.

And now we're hearing that Tesla is laying off thousands... after collecting government subsidies to build the plant... which is still under construction.

This is a pretty fair representation.

Dont worry folks, it will be all over within the next five years, EV,s are only a stop gap,
the big manufaturers are already edging ever closer to hydrogen power plants,

One guy was quoted over 30 grand for replacement batteries for his Tesla, so he took it somewhere and tied sticks
of Dynamite to it and blew it all to heck

Still don't understand why "the big wigs" didn't settle on hydrogen long ago.

Hydrogen could be stored in tanks just like gasoline - and today's "filling station" locations would be re-purposed.

Hydrogen can be made from water; people were doing that over 150 years ago. And hydrogen cars don't need batteries made from hard to obtain minerals.

Different charging plug formats at *new* charging stations, often with "out of service" signs hanging on the plug cables, or with several cars waiting in line to charge ... "Houston - we have a problem".

yeesh

But,like Prius drivers, they're saving the Earth.
If I were thinking of going that route,I'd buy a hybrid.
If you couldn't find a working charging station,at least
you'd be able to keep going.

Saw one a couple of days ago.
Not only ugly, but the finish seemed dull and the panels appeared wavy.
How much are they?
Not something I would ever want.

saw one today.

Mrs JP said if you gave a five year old a pencil and a ruler and asked them to draw a truck.....

I saw one here in Roanoke the other day - it really does look like
a rolling metal dumpster.A dentist owns it & drives like an idiot,& has
decals with his name on the doors.
