Hi all!
I noticed this little quirk a while back when the Toyota dealership I work at picked up the new Scion brand.
I think someone somewhere in Toyota is an old MG nut
The Scion models are XA XB and TC..... Sound fermiliar?
the old MG models were MGA MGB and MGTC (for the newbies)
If Scion brings out the TD or TF I'll be convinced.
Of course this has screwed up internet searches for info on a TC.. Now you get blasted by Scion stuff.
Well off to work TTFN..

But probably better than all the Tomb Raider 3 information, memorabilia & stuff that TR3 search will get you.

that may be the deal sealer for their inspiration... but I won't be satisfied until I see a Scion XC. Which would consist of a Scion XB with a 3 liter straight 6... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Well, Banjo, not quite right...

Old MGs were MG TC, MG TD, MG TF, MG MGA, MG MGB, etc.

I know. It's not exactly a match, It just seemed pretty suspect that As we casually called 3 of the most popular MGs, the "TC" the "A" and the "B" so we use the exact same terms for the Scions.

I just saw a TC at the LA Auto Show today. Does not resemble an MG of any type in any way. Like that's a suprise!

/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/lol.gif it'd be somewhat shocking if it did.... heh
