Strange as it may seem this car actually is a suitable candidate for a total restoration.. It's in as good a shape as my AH was when I started. Even better if you consider the hardtop. Of course it needs everything but so what? You start with a Jule frame, rebuild the motor, etc etc. And when your done you'll have a nice car.

johnny, very true if one has the time and access to a resonable set of tools,basic mechanical skills, and joins B.C.F, and oh ya what about 40-60gs?, now im not being flipant about this at all! would you agree on that amount? and didnt you get your "jule"" frame on the cheap? anyway i agree with your evaluation.

keoke/shg,come on man dont ya remember back in the 30's and 40's synchronized swimming bunch ah fems in a giant pool swimming around in formation then this one gal does a high dive into it? well the diver/swimmer is the world famous "sonya henning" as in sonya henning model healey, get it "swimming pool healey", i though my memory was shot, forget it!

Sorry, I'm always so slow to respond. After all it took me 12 years to complete my Healey.
No, I don't have a Jule frame, but if I wanted to restore another Healey similar to the one I now own, or one that resembles the one on Ebay I would start with a Jule frame and chassis. Also, I don't agree that the cost would be $40-60 G's unless you have professional's do all the work.

At this point the bidding is up to $5225 and there've been 20 different bidders.
They're buying a project and a few years' effort, and an opportunity to spend some more money.
I'm rebuilding one, very slowly; and hope to have a nice car eventually, for rather less than I could afford to pay someone else to do the work, or to buy outright, all at once....
