Got to the windsheld, Nasty nasty, the rubber holding the glass in the frame, caked stuff all over both sides.
Ha, it comes right off with water and a bit of rubbing, think it must be soap or such to lub the rubber when the glass was put in, it's NEW. NEW rubber and glass both.
Again, thanks Jolly.
As you can tell I am getting down to the point where there is not much for me to do to prep for reassembly when the tub gets done. I am just messing at this point with a bit of this and that except for the rear springs. One is all apart and paint is drying. Will complete it before working on the other. I think I have promises for all the remaing parts, nice guys Jolly, Chris, Bugeye, and Tony. Never would have gotten this far without them.
Have found the VB catalog a good resource for some few items that Moss shows as N/A, got a windsheld washer pump, and a heater duct yesterday the duct that bolts to the front along side the radiator.
The only part that I can not get from anywhere but eBay at this point is I beleive the Heater switch with the choke cable on it. Soon as Jollys package, and Chris's package get here I have it all but the items I need to order through Tony from Moss along with stripping and painting the tub.
Going to be some months for sure, time and cost but it is looking great at this point, I just may have all ready for a next spring outing.
Jack
PS: I think I will call my plan, first part complete, before the European trip, that was my goal. In my wildest dreams.
