Does anyone know the paint color of the 60 spoke painted wire wheels? I am trying to refurbish mine and I want to get them as close as possible. Thanks

I used some I got from Eastwood for wire wheels and happy with the match.

Moss Motors sells the silver wire wheel paint in rattle cans. Works well if you apply several light coats versus a couple of heavier ones. Have used it on MG's and Healey's and always been pleased with the results.

Mike

Try Duplicolor Cold Cast Aluminum in the engine enamel - spray can. Least expensive and no metalliic flakes. Easy to find locally too. Bob

This is what I used too.

The Austin Healey concours registry says:

The correct color is medium silver for 48 spoke, 60 spoke and disc wheels (exact shades will not be judged, but the color should not be a bright aluminum). A reasonable approximation of this color can be found by using either Eastwood's Detail Silver or 1971 Mercedes Astral Silver.
