What's up with this computer?

For the last few weeks, when I view a topic, I go to the start of the page rather than to the unviewed posts. (I am logged in) The list still shows unviewed posts in red, but doesnt go to them. I have deleted the browsing history, and cookies, and gone to internet options, and have allowed this website under the privacy tab. Anyone have any suggestions. Thanks for your help!
 
What browser are you using? You say you deleted history and cookies - how about temp files?
 
Internet Explorer. Yes, did delete temp files. Thanks for your help.
