Wedge tr7 pedal box

i noticed that the pedal box dimensions are smaller on my '76 fhc than my '81 dhc. my foot keeps catching underneath the brake pedal. i wonder when they changed the pedal box to accomodate us klutzes?

i finished putting in my weber's and my "hot" cam. it actually runs better with the "hot" cam vice the stock cam. new tires and change brake pads, cap, rotor, coolant and i'll be ready for a road trip to oklahoma city next month.

Philman, are your webers DGV's? I am installing DGV's on my 7. Just finished changing out the front axle on my Honda. So back on the 7 now /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif. The kit i have only has pictures for an installation guide for the DGV's. I'm kind of concerned about getting the Linkage right, have you found any good info. on linkage. Can you tell any difference in hp from the changes you've done? I know i'm asking a lot of questions, but thanks in advance. jb

i installed with no instructions (used). i used some heim joints and threaded shafts from a sand rail shop. they use webers on a lot of vw powered sand rails (CB Performance on line). I also had to fabricate a bracket out of flat stock to change the angle the throttle cable attached to the rod arm. I can take digital photos if you need. one piece of important advice. set up best idle on the webers before attaching the heim joints to the rod arm. we'll start a new thread if you need more help. I also used an extra "u" shaped heater hose (rear of head to heater pipes) to route the heated water through the weber manifold because it was taking too long to warm up properly.

Thanks for the info. I'll give it a shot blindly, would be nice to see those pics though /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif. I'm planning on hooking up the manifold heating using the FASD hose inlets, don't see why it wouldn't work, i hope. jb
