Hi guys - getting going again now that the trunnion dust shields arrived (missed them on my punch list of things to order).

So how far up does the trunnion go on the vertical link? Asa far as it can w/out hitting the link? Or one turn before that?

The manual doesn't specific exactly...

Thanks!

I think I wound them in until they bottomed out and backed off one turn.

I did the same thing.

Thanks Ray.

Hey - any update on your build guys?
Well, here is what I have been up to. Testing the engine. It still has a miss I cannot identify the cause of. (yes I did the floats, vacuum leak, valves, compression and everything else I could think of including have Jeff do my distributor). So I have decided to move on or lose the summer. So the body will be reunited with the frame (I will of course remove the carbs and send them off for testing/rebuild) and get on with the rest of the body work, painting, and reassembly.

And yes, that is my "garage". It shows you it can be done in a small place. (I would make it larger if I had to do it again)

I plan to be done with my project this weekend, hopefully today. Not a lot left to do, but enough to keep me busy for a few hours.

Ray, what's the condition of your rocker shaft and rockers? I chased a random miss in my old engine that turned out to be them.
