Tool identification quiz

OK friends, I recently received some tools - I asked for them for some clips but along with it came some tools. In the box came an old soldering iron and a nasty pair of snips both of which immediately went in the bin. So, any idea what any of these are? If you know (and I genuinely don't but wonder if they have to do with sheet metal) can you respond with a quote so I know which is which. Thanks - I am putting them in individual posts for that reason.

cheers

Looks like some sprocket chain tools an old monkey wrench, a circlip tool, an outside adjustable spanner, and an alligator wrench, which I think I have a couple in a box of old stuff somewhere. Haven't seen an alligator wrench in years! They were the easiest tool to destroy a nut or bolt head surface I ever knew of! LOL PJ

#1 tool to adjust tire chains remove links #2 for tighten or removing lock rings #3 better known as a FORD wrench #4 call a Bull Dog the dummy side when tighten bolts on steel beams # 5 chain brake to remove linls or adding master link works up to # 60 chain. Most would have a better use as a boat anchors

I think #4 is an antique medical device use for .... never mind.

To be clear I think you just identified Madflyer's tool lineup not mine

Thanks for the chainlink identification - that will actually be helpful soon.

Well guys I have used all these tools more than ounce #4 is great for trailer balls. Basil you were closure than most

Looks like the drawer at my local dentist.

WTF?? Looks like holdovers from the dawn of the Industrial revolution. One looks like a demented wirestripper.
Indeed. turns out for mine (not madflyers) the one is for removing a chain link and all the rest are for adjusting the teeth on a hand saw after sharpening.
