Some time ago I saw a picture of a square body sprite with BE
overiders mounted on the back. Can anyone find it for me.

Thanks

Mark

How about this one. I like them turned this way. BE's have them turned over the other way.

Thanks Jim

Just how did you mount those.

Mark

Just took regular bumper irons. Nothing special needed. Mounts to regular bumper mounts. Simple to do and I think looks far better than regular bumper.

I also used the Bugeye bumperettes on the front and rear of my RWA Midget. Takes a bit more work on the later car, holes to fill from the extra bumper bracket used for the split bumpers. The front required custom brackets to mount as well.

I took another direction with the front end. Not finished, a work in progress.

Lookin' good Jim!! ( I like that HD muffler hangin' down there too! How do you like the sound?)

Mike sounds good but of course the better half says it is still too loud. Well it's quieter than the old glasspack even though the baffles are drilled out. I'm going to look at a FLowtech Dual Chrome Tip with Resonator that I can order through Advance Auto Part 59905FLT. 2 1/2" outlet, dual chrome tip cut at an angle, 15" long. This has more the look that I want, $34.44 from Advance Auto via Mail Order. I sold my old Spridget seats over the weekend and money from that sale will fund new muffler tips.

A Spridget too loud??
(Like the Harley guys say..."Loud pipes save lives!!" :jester: )

Mike,

Problem is better half likes to sleep in on the weekends and I want to fire up Bugsy and go for coffee. Now if you experienced first hand what she is like when sleep deprived and I wake her up with Bugsy firing up in the garage. Trust me it isn't worth it. My solution is to pull Bugsy backwards out of the garage and as he starts to roll down the slope of driveway reach in and pull on handbrake. Jump in, fasten seat belt, release handbrake, depress clutch and roll backwards down to the street, turn the key and off I go. The last dozen times I've been successful with this technique and have gotten to enjoy early morning romps with Bugsy. She just doesn't appreciate the fun I have with this car, something women just don't understand. Later.

Ah, my better half jumps at chances to take Frank out by herself.
I wonder what they're doing out there...
She says it's because he gets so much better mileage than our 6000 lb mommy van, but I'm beginning to wonder.

I wish that was the case with mine, Bugsy scares the he_l out of her and she will not ride in him. She drove him once in an emergency situation and absolutely will not ride in him again. She's fine with the TL or Suburban but no way is she going to ride in or drive Bugsy. She blames it on allergies, we can't ride in any car with windows down ever. Oh well, she makes up for that deficit in many other ways. Perhaps if Bugsy had Frank's power it would be different.
