TR4/4A Should I use ARP Assembly Lubricant for Engine Assembly and Fastener Installation?

About to order the ARP kit for my long suffering cylinder head issues and have read mixed things on using the assembly lube. Any coaching or experience to pass along?

I also want to ask if I should chase the threads in the block before installing?

If you're going to use their hardware, I'd suggest following ARP's advice on installing it, including using their lube.

I wouldn't chase the threads unless there is a problem. If you do, use a purpose-made thread reformer, not an ordinary tap.
